Poletech Foundation Bases for Passively Safe Traditional Steel or Aluminium Sign Posts
Recent Highways Agency advice states that steel and aluminium sign poles of 76mm O/D and 89mm O/D with a nominal wall thickness of 3.2mm are deemed to satisfy BSEN 12767 for Passive Safety requirements and as such need not be protected by safety barriers.
