Poletech Modular Access Chambers
The Poletech MAC (Modular Access Chamber) system is an innovative, modular, flatpack Cable Access Box, which easily converts into a Pole Box and which satisfies the requirements of all utilities in addition to the Traffic Signal and Street Lighting industries.
The Poletech MAC (Modular Access Chamber) system - the flatpack system with endless configurations. A versatile product, the Poletech MAC system provides cable duct access facility to sign, signal and cable TV industries, as well as other utilities.
The modular elements take seconds to construct into a rigid access chamber or pole box and the injected moulded panels can be erected simply and easily on site without special tools or fittings. The flat-pack system saves storage space and transport costs.
Poletech has developed a range of these MACs, split into Poletech MAC and Poletech Multi MAC.
Poletech MAC
3 sizes of panel can be assembled into 5 standard sizes of chamber, all of which provide the regulation minimum 450mm of cover above the duct. Extension chambers (300mm deep) are also available.
Sizes: 300 x300, 450 x 300, 450 x 450, 600 x 450, 600 x 600.
The panels can also be easily made into a pole box with the addition of an umbilical connector.
Standard depth is 585mm (excluding frame & cover) and chambers can be stacked to achieve greater depth. Multiple duct cut-outs allow entry for a wide range of smooth and twin-walled duct sizes and unlike other systems, the regulation 450mm of cover is achieved with a single unit (585 deep) avoiding exessive excavation. Each duct cut out is surrounded by strengthened cell walls to maintain rigidity of chamber and allow duct access at any point.
Poletech MACs are complimented by an extensive range of composite, steel and ductile covers and frames for all load and badging requirements. The covers are designed and recommended for use with MAC chambers.

Poletech Multi MAC
Using the same principle as the MAC chambers, by incorporating multiple panel sides, Multi MAC Chambers can be assembled to any size required; typically 750mm², 900mm², 1050mm², 1200 x 600mm², 2000 x1050mm² and larger. This amazingly versatile system can achieve any duct depths from 190mm. Injection moulded manufacture reinforced by galvanised steel frames ensures strength, accuracy of fit and an unrivalled level of economy.Poletech MACs are complimented by an extensive range of composite, steel and ductile covers and frames for all load and badging requirements. The covers are designed and recommended for use with MAC chambers.
